Producer Profile
Orlando Julius Aremu Ekemode is one of the pioneers of Afro-funk, recording the first highlife-rock fusion album in Nigeria in 1966 and influencing James Brown's own African recordings. His band the Afro Sounders created some of the most ferocious and danceable African funk of the era. His records are holy grails for crate diggers.
